PET SHOP - Protozoal-mix care 4 bird - Indication: Protozoal infections: Trichomoniasis (Canker), Giardiasis and Cochlosomosis in birds. Symptoms: • Trichomoniasis: Weight loss, regurgitation, dried saliva around beak • Giardiasis: Diarrhoea and some deaths. • Cochlosomosis: In nestlings: dehydration and weakness with yellow diarrhoea. In finches fostered under Bengalese, which act as asymptomatic carriers. Symptoms are most severe in chicks aged 10 days to 6 weeks. Infection may spread via contamination of droppings, food and water. Dosage DOSAGE: Trichomoniasis and Giardiasis: add 5 g to 1 liter of drinkingwater for 5-7 consecutive days. Parrot: 1 g to 1 liter of drinkingwater for 5-7 consecutive days. DOSAGE: Cochlosomosis: add 5 g to 1 liter of drinkingwater or 500 g of soft food for 5 consecutive days. Repeat this treatment monthly for 6 months. Measuring spoon 1+5 g. included.
