Amazing Seeds - Jalapeno Lemon Spice Sandia - NuMex Jalapeño Lemon Spice  - This yellow jalapeño is nice and spicy and popular because of its bright yellow color.  Use this beautiful pepper to enhance the look of everything you would make with green jalapeños! This jalapeño is green at immaturity and bright yellow at maturity. It has thick flesh and spicy flavor like the Early Jalapeño, but a lot more heat. Yellow Jalapeño seeds are easy to grow, and these yellow beauties will certainly please in the garden! This yellow jalapeño ripens as early as 65 days after germinating – which means you can enjoy these yellow gems earlier than most other peppers! Provide 85°F bottom heat, bright light and keep moist at all times. Seeds will germinate in 7 - 21 days. Transplant seedlings into pots and grow until there are 6 true leaves on the plant. Plant them directly into rich soil, 30” apart or into large 5 gallon containers. Harvest peppers when they are full size and yellow.
